6 3/4" x 4 1/8"

A bit of crinkling along the top and a light fold to the bottom right corner

may be that old--it is the real stunner of this pair (though both are lovely)

Large, Extremely Weathered and Hol(e)y Carved Head of Christ (?) Figure shaker style box leading one to imagine thatHoley Christ! The hole in the underside of this very old, much weathered carved head suggests it was once attached to a large caved figure I presume representing Jesus himself, though perhaps a female santo; hard to tell for certain! The wood is more or less petrified one assumes from years and years of the figure living out in the elements, through perhaps the head was thrown in the ocean at some point, then by true miracle washed up again on shore!
