in large part as a result of finding wonderful objects like this brass duck-shaped clip

with no apparent wear at all to the interior and just slight scratching to the surface

with just a bit of wear to the interior

While certainly a functional base for a dramatic floral arrangement, it's also just a wonderfully unusual and curious object.
