Hand-drawn in blue ink (a few small smears on the leaves of the branch on which the birds sit make it clear this is drawn rather than printed) on cardstock weight board

The extremely ballerina-esque exaggerated lengths of her jointed arms and legs are also pretty amazing

M. & Co. padlock is a pretty rare one, dating to the Civil War era, and all the rarer in great working shape with key. D. M & Co stands for Davenport Mallor & Co of New Haven, CT and there were a few varieties of these they produced; this one, heart shaped, with decorative brass plate around the keyhole and simple brass swinging lock cover is my favorite I've seen.
