Large Elm Double Compartment Candle Box, c.1800 Ceramics & Glass A lovely Edwardian mother ofAn early 19th century elm candle box of unusually large proportions with a double compartment interior. The candle box has a historic repair to the top 'hoop' and some nibbles to the bottom right moulding. Later fixtures have been affixed verso. Small area of historic woodworm to the base exterior which has been treated in abundance of caution. Overall the candle box displays very well with fantastic colour throughout. An unusual example.
