Death Whoop - N. America -U.S. Maryland Delaware and the DistrictDeath Whoop Seth Eastman was an Army man who chronicled native American life, and was even commissioned by the government to paint numerous scenes. This is his famous and controversial image of a man being scalped, taken from his original painting. The original painting was a cause for concern at the time, and was removed from viewing on occasion. This steel engraving faithfully recreates the original. Condition is very good.
