6 1/4" long x 1 1/8" wide x 3/4" deep and in great structural condition with a terrific patina of wear

and various hairline cracks all over

I believe these date to the Civil War era

They are woodblock prints of kimono textile designs by F

and some use of red and blue ink in addition to black (which reads now as sepia) The book starts in one direction then was flipped midway and started in the other direction

With quite a rich patina, I am quite certain it is an older piece, 1960s is my gut, and quite a beautiful one I think, with a light colored vein in the black stone creating a perfect ring around the neck of this graceful seal, stretched out on slab of stone, seemingly forever on the verge of slipping out to sea.
