Farlex Platewind Fly Reel 1-1 DD 3 3/4" 8'9" This rod has all ofA nice Farlex Platewind direct drive fly reel, 3 3 4" diameter and set up for RHW (though the bias is fairly neutral). Raised pillar design. Serial #081. Mint, unused condition. Black anodized throughout. The reel weighs 10 ounces on my scale. Gear and pawl drag system with a nice loud click. Ebonite handle that's slightly flared at the end. The winding plate sports a brass medallion over the spindle that notes the size, serial number, and gear ratio.
