In spring, Ever Red has new shoots and foliage that emerge with fine hairs (pubescence) which makes the plant appear silvery or white. Very Cool. After a few weeks the silver color fades and the leaves attain a deep red. The leaves of Ever Red also tend to have a light green to yellow center vein which also adds a unique character to
