Every five years or so I decide to make a new set of dubbing needles and this one was a particularly fun edition for me to produce

The downlocking nickel silver reel seat is very fine with knurled rings and a maple spacer

Edward Vom Hofe 423 Salmon Reel 2/0 7'11" Every five years or soA nice Edward Vom Hofe Restigouche Salmon Reel, model 423, in 2 0 size. 3 3 8" diameter with a 1 3 8" spool width. Set up for RHW. Excellent original condition, with some light cosmetic wear but no major issues that I could find. The nickel silver rims have some tarnish in places (typical), the indicator dots on the backplate don't have their original red color, and one can make out a faint outline of a line sticker on the front plate under the crank,
