The form of this terrific old chip carved tramp art frame keeps making me think of a child in the snow making a snow angel

It was arranged and pressed just right and has  endured remarkably well

Naive Ink and Watercolor of Children at Beach pottery pin and he struck gold tooA very sweet one, which makes me rather nostalgic for the summer now at its end, as well as for the joys of playing in the sand. And wouldn't it be nice if all children played together as happily as this?! Late ish 19th century I believe, ink and watercolor, framed as I found it in an old Kodak plate frame. 8 1 8" x 6 1 8" framed; image is 5 1 2" x 3 7 8". A big of age toning but overall very good condition.
