I find this antique handmade card--maybe a valentine

Perhaps there are a few pine needles on the lid that have broken near the ends such that the tips are visible

but have a slight hunch they may be Korean and would guess they date from the 1940s or early 50s

I do think this painted papier-mache face is quite spectacular
