I see a fair number of old hat blocks around of various sorts and am not often compelled to buy one

to me there is something rather potent about a pile of someone else's DNA--and an immediacy to it that collapses the distance across 100+ years

and these old shoe-shaped snuff boxes are such wonderful

especially ones with old leather covers on top like this one

3 3/8” l x 15/16” w x 1 5/16” t and in very good condition

Beautifully Primitive Old Canadian Folk Art Wooden Animals sculptural wooden toy I see a fair numberI found these along with the antique Inuit miniature sled just listed, and while I don't believe they originally belonged together, I do believe, based on a note from the seller, that these are Canadian in origin too, of a similar age, and if not Inuit certainly they feel aligned in sensibility and essence, with a beautiful no fuss sort of elegance and gravitas to them. Lots of power and fortitude expressed in the forms of those blocky carved bodies!
