1829-30 Penmanship Practice Notebook, in German, Presumed American skiing man constructed from a kitI purchased this one especially for the layers of text and doodles on the inside covers and first and last pages, including a little Fraktur writing yum yum but love it front to back, including for the fact that I can't read German so the lines of penmanship practice repeated over and over become more or less just beautiful fields of line. Pretty cool too, that though in German I am confident is it American: it's author was a Johannes Knetz, but on
