One of the smallest of all Agaves. The green to gray green along the edges with a creamy stripe down the middle (higher light makes them gray, lower light is green). Unusually, the offsets form in the bases of the lower leaves. The leaves have a small brown spike on the tip, but it isn't that bad by Agave standards. The rosettes usually stay 6" or less. Easy to grow.
