Glenfarclas 13 Year Old SMWS Textbook 1.294 56.7% 34 Year Old As the name suggest theGlenfarclas 13 year old Textbook release by SMWS. A great whisky distilled on the 25th of January 2012. Maturation was in ex bourbon hogshead followed by a 1st fill ex Oloroso hogshead. Bottling was at a natural cask strength of 56. 7% abv. A classically sherried dram with clear Oloroso influence, makes for a profile befitting of this Speyside great. It is both deep and rich with great dried fruit notes.
