Sage 509 Fly Reel with Spare Spool 9'6" The box is a RippleA Sage 509 Fly Reel with a spare spool, this reel was made exclusively for Sage by Hardy of England. 3 7 8" diameter and set up for RHW. This is the Sage equivalent of the Hardy St. John or JLH and Sage had them add a palming rim. The reel is in fair used condition with a little mild corrosion to the finish in two areas on the backplate, and the plastic disc that covers the spindle on the backplate is missing.
