but I understand from the seller I purchased it from that it is signed REA and dated 1949

Private No Parking Old Hand-painted Wooden Sign rare game but it is a bitI love the no fuss boldness and clarity of this old hand painted sign, but also, especially, the slightly jaunty black lettering for "NO PARKING", with the A standing especially tall, and the K kicking out with an extra long leg. This of course is made all the better by the alligatoring of the black paint, which could not be more perfect, all the more so against the great old white. 20 1 4" wide x 14 1 2" tall x 3 4" thick. Aged and worn but no splits
