Little Carved Tagua Nut Native American Chief Head beaded brooch 9 1/2" across when openI believe it is a Tagua nut that was carved to make this little head, with a black glass bead inserted for the eye. I just love his face in profile, and especially that ear and nicely detailed feathers! 1 7 8" t x 1 1 2" x 5 8" and in very good condition. It stands up on its flat bottom. 1920s 40s or so I would guess.
