Most of the original bronzing is intact and displays the true patina of unmolested early Hardy reels (hard to capture in the photos)

The drag is easily adjusted via an easy to grab knob on the face of the frame

Mahogany with four lift out trays with nickel silver fly clips to the interior of the cabinet base. This is a particularly nice example with a near full set of flies (> 400!) with several gut eyed amongst them. The trays are in pristine condition. This box has never been auction fodder and has excellent provenance a fine Scottish Glen Lyon estate and a prime central London (Kensington)
