I have a hard time wrapping my head around how one would carve a chain from one piece of wood
The backsides show stains to the paper in the corners but no tears and the fronts are in excellent condition
Everything about it except for the red paint makes me believe it is a Dorman Products Hardware storage cabinet from the 1950s or so
and the other a lighter green-brown

Between the faded green color and the hand knotted construction, I find it quite a satisfying thing, perhaps to fill with some shells and hang on the wall. Approx 6 1 2" wide x 7 3 4" tall laid flat. In perfect structural condition, with no losses.
