This 32 inch long rod/reel case with a brook trout and many other fly and fish carvings was constructed to fit an 7 1/2 foot

The rod features browntone Bakelite impregnated cane with transparent caramel colored wraps (one snake guide was re-wrapped) and bright guides

The brass cap has a grey felt insert and a small corner of the original Payne label still adheres to the tube

Nice leaded finish with the desirable large arbor. All original and in excellent condition throughout, the only drawback being some very light initial scratched into the spool near the three screw latch (you can't see it unless you look at it in a certain light as mentioned, it is very faint).
