on which there is some loss of lacquer on the backside in one corner

All of these signs of age in this case I think only contribute to the wonderful aura of this lovely little painting

but it does not seem to snap closed tightly (not sure if it ever did

Old Carving Knife old wooden hammer (Of course who would everI grabbed this knife, for carving I believe, out of an artist's studio at a recent estate sale just because I loved the look of it, with this long steel blade and worn wooden handle. It could use a little sharpening I think, but surely useful for all sorts of things. In well loved condition, with some paint on the wood and rust on the blade. 5 7 8" long x 5 8" wide x 1 2" deep.
