The ring shows some light scratches to the gold commensurate with age and one of the prongs is shorter than the other five (please see photographs)

Large 19th Century Carved Oak and Brass Dinner Gong The Library Six diamonds:An extremely attractive 19th century carved oak and brass dinner gong of large proportions. The piece boasts fine barley twist arms with ornately carved oak to the top and bottom of the frame, all above carved oak scroll feet. The brass gong itself is thick and extremely heavy, sitting upon later hooks within the frame. There is a small hole to the underside of the gong (please see photographs) but it still has a lovely deep and resonating ring when
