The Library nor is there any suggestionA Mappin & Webb brass carriage clock in near mint condition and perfect working order, together with original winding key. To the rear of the clock is a plaque which reads 'THE SULTANATE OF OMAN, U. S.$400,000,000, JANUARY 1985'. The military cooperation 'Access Agreement' between the United Kingdom, the United States and Oman was renewed in 1985. It is believed that this clock was commemorative of the event and presented to a figure or body involved.
