These were once the end-caps on rolls of hand-drafted architectural drawings

I have only found one other like this

but doing it in such a completely tender

and have included a 1912 advertisement showing this same roll in photos

I'd hang this next to a Sol Lewitt or Agnes Martin or Donald Judd if I had one handy, ha. Like a grid of life buoys, too. Or clouds in the sky. SUPERIOR. 4 3 8" x 2 3 4" 1940s. Some wear around the edges of the card, all to the good I think.
