I've seen a few hand-carved wooden vessels made in Yugoslavia

but the other a pipe cleaner attached to a real little animal claw

and reminds me a bit of the cats of Laurel Burch

to the gold rim around the top

giving it a decisive edginess

As usually one finds them one at a time, they would be a great thing to build a collection of, showcasing that variety. I especially love the stem on this one, and how the cup sits on it like on a pedestal, stepped in a bit from flat top of the stem. I have not touched the wood on it, which shows a patch of what I think are
