Large Early 20th Century Carved Chinese Monkey Art London versoA fantastic carved monkey of large proportions, circa early 20th century. Traces of a Chinese stamp to the underside. The wood is unidentified but is very light. The monkey is sat with its arms resting on its knees in an attentive manner. The carved eyes are painted black and the body has deep grooving throughout to mimic fur. A great looking piece.
