The turn around time is 2 weeks since the DME has to be sent to Europe for unlocking. NOTE You will need to disable the AUTO UPDATES by going to the following in the iDrive menu. Car > Settings > General Settings > Data Privacy > Select "No Service". If the iDrive asks you to update your apps, do not do this. It will lock the ECU again and you will lose your tune unlock.
