For most of the 40 years I have fished for Atlantic salmon in both Nova Scotia and the Gaspe I have been tinkering with bamboo salmon rods

I used some of this extra wood to make the middle section of the needles

This reel has some backing on the spool and shows signs of very light use. Anodized black perforated spool on the crank side and back. The silver serpentine handle is counterbalanced.
