is that this is American and I am pretty sure it dates to the 2nd half of the 20th century

Boston Pen and Ink Clipper Ship Drawings on Ledger Paper ceramic planter with handles ) The small basket isI have a hard time resisting old ship drawings, but what especially sold me on these is that they were done on old used ledger paper, with the header on one of them being Boston, Sept. 1895 (and including what appear to be fairly substantial assets.) As Boston had been quite a hub of clipper ship design and building, I'd like to think whoever drew these had a personal connection, or at least observed these beauties on the sea, first hand. I don't
