This just struck me as rather poetic and wonderfully lyrical--two looping knots of worm at top and bottom

And rather a possessed looking one too, though I think really just in need of some love! And actually, as I look at photographs of kangaroo as I write this, I might say this carver did manage to capture some of their strangeness fairly well and perhaps this one is meant to be a protective mother!
