Clusters of strongly fragrant hawthorn like flowers after a hot summer followed by (if another tree is close by) unique edible orange or yellow fruits. Excellent in pots. Can usually withstands brief exposure to temperatures below 5C, but survival cannot be guaranteed in these conditions. RHS hardiness rating: H4
