I am pretty certain this one is Ojibwe and really love its relative simplicity

it seems there were a whole series of these made for export in the earlyish 20th century featuring an array of different dogs as well as other animals

feels like it belongs in a museum vitrine

In one of the cages inside the larger cage are two little balls, and in the other one larger, tapered (sort of top like) shape. All are free from their walls and will jiggle around a bit.
