It is possible that the silhouette was later edited or was painted over a print

Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Corner Chair With Musical Instrument Motif Antiquarian Books Ink inscription to the frontAn attractive Edwardian mahogany inlaid corner chair. The chair boasts a shaped inlaid top rail depicting musical instruments, outswept arms with pierced inlaid splats below, all standing on four turned legs united by crossed stretchers. The chair has some marking commensurate with age particularly to the rear of the top rail central panel which has some nibbles to wood (please see photographs), but overall the chair remains in a very good condition.
