E.C. Powell 9' 2/2 Bamboo Rod 10' Holds hook sizes #28 -For sale here is a 9' 2 2 E. C. Powell bamboo rod made in the mid to late 1940's. A or B taper rod. It's referred to a "dry fly" rod in the included correspondence. Casts a five weight line very well. The rod weighs 4 1 4 oz. Ferrules are 15 64, tips tops 5 64. Obviously the rod has been well used but remains full length and relatively straight. Original bag and tube. Included with the sale is a letter from 1960 between the owner and Tony Maslan.
