Betty's Checkerboard Cat on Wood Panel inventive sculpture they would be a greatI really wish I had other works by the Betty Groose (or similar), who made this in Miss Adams' classroom, grade school I would guess. It's almost as if she was anticipating the digital age, dividing the cat into pixels, though seems more likely she might first have taken a stab at it using graph paper, and then recreated it free hand much better with the squares getting a little wonky here and there.
