Lovely Old Carved Walnut Ball in Cage Whimsy with Octahedron Finial/Handle Santos arm I found it stuck into

I found it stuck into a newish painted piece of wood base

The clothes make me think 1930s-40s

with some age but I'm really not sure how old or who made her

This--heavy

but it does look like there is some writing on the flip side just barely showing though along the bottom

Lovely Old Carved Walnut Ball in Cage Whimsy with Octahedron Finial/Handle Santos arm I found it stuck intoA beauty of an old whimsy, carved of walnut I believe, with very elegant elongated form, housing one small ball inside. Best of all this and this wonderfully faceted top end, which also functions as a handle should one wish to use it as a rattle. Lovely. 6 3 4" t x 1" w x 1" d. Very nice condition, no issues whatsoever, with very nice age to it.
