Painted Cutout Butterly with Fine Antennae! solitaire I would guess 1870s orQuite an exhuberant butterly, and it seems fairly old one judging from the back, hand painted on laid paper, with very finely cut out antennae! Perhaps it lost one tiny one along the way, but who cares, a lovely, painterly thing which also feels quite symbolic! 7 7 16 wing span x 4 1 8 t, very good condition.
