Use this as a skeleton for any mono-green Commander, and youll be rewarded with a very strong start to your deck
That does not mean this card is bad, for it is quite good
Taxing your opponents is usually a sub-strategy that works to frustrate them and makes attacking other people at the table far more attractive
Lets say your opponent casts [c]Harmonize[/c] with the intent of drawing three cards
Im not sure where Skysovereign, Consul Flagship will fit in Standard, and its facing heavy competition at the five-drop slot from other mythics in the format, but the card is powerful and the (literal) Flagship of the set, so Im not counting it out
Its not too powerful, especially compared to some of the newer stuff, but its in an interesting middle ground where you can still take games off of high-power cEDH pods while joining up high-power casual games
