Primarily both are played as a two drop that draws a card, the elf is just a body to be done away with via Skullclamps etc or offer up synergy for better elves where as the wall is more of a speedbump against aggressive decks

After adding those the post-board games started feeling a lot better, because the Mutate deck could actually destroy opposing Mazemind Tome with Prismari Command but they couldnt interact with ours

I'm interested to see where this goes

It gives your commanders Protection from everything at instant speed

Bodyguard allows the card to enter play exerted - rotating it 90 degrees to the side, which opens it up to possible challenges - in order to force the opponent to challenge the bodyguard card if they attack on the next turn
