Vance's Blasting Cannons is perhaps the most aspirational card on this list but is almost perfectly serviceable as just a red howling mine (do we have a good name for "effect that draws you another card each turn"?) It notably doesn't let you play lands, but cards like Outpost Siege don't give you the story equity this card does

Reanimator Theme As is typical with most Reanimator decks, the goal here is to cheat some of your enormous haymakers into play and ride them to victory
There's a lot of staples for Counters decks here, like Inspiring Call, Inexorable Tide, Hardened Scales, and it's the first time we've seen Damning Verdict reprinted, one of the best cards for a Counters deck as a one-sided wipe and it was quite expensive for that reason
