If you have a ton of artifact creatures, I think its completely reasonable to hang back with this creature and just send in all your other artifact creatures to close out the game
The problem, though, is that so expensive an activation cost is risky in Constructed

The fact that it also produces a Zombie Army creature token is a nice extra
The duals that are fetchable are dual lands that have a basic land type on them
