Calix, Guided by Fate - Making your creatures bigger when you drop enchantments is pretty huge
Tovolars grumpy alter ego - we assume theyre grumpy - is Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge, which is a 4/4 that still lets you draw cards in the same way as Dire Overlord, but also allows you to pay X, one green and one red, to give a target Wolf or Werewolf +x/+0 and trample until the end of the turn
Against Elves our sweepers clean up their board nicely
Lifegain in Magic is generally bad (unless its incidental on an already-playable card or a dedicated anti-burn card), whereas its common in many LoR decks
At this point, they are all fair game and I like casting a wide net, but over time well definitely see some rise above as the most popular
Unfortunately, unlike artifacts, enchantments, and even ramp, there simply aren't that many "the top of your deck matters" cards in Magic , so there's only so far you can take the theme
