I mean, this is a given because cards from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth will be legal in the Modern format, and I cannot imagine the carnage a card with the power level of a Black Lotus or Time Vault will bring to Modern
Lucky for us the promised day came, and the card was one of the last cards revealed in the set
As opposed to something like Reverberate or Fork, which most decks run to copy something they play themselves (with my Time Walk on the stack, I cast Fork), I actually believe Display of Power is at its peak as a defensive play
