With a total of 175 cards, rather than the 220+ that had become the norm (and be warned, Surging Sparks has a deranged 252, with an eye-watering 191 of them before the secret rares start), it feels manageable, collectible, and most importantly, is packed with completely gorgeous cards
As alternate styles become more plentiful, many options will be available for people who want specific card effects for a reasonable price
As we saw above with Scute Swarm, a triggered ability can contain a self-replacement effect
Hopefully an opponent has a Farewell or a Shatter the Sky to save themselves, or youll take the win by dealing enough infect damage
The first does 50 damage to each of the opponent's benched Pokemon
The background is a simple red and orange swirl palette, allowing Ninetales to command all of our attention
