I think its the scale of the society that lives on these gigantic branches and the beauty of the light coming in and really selling why a civilization would call a lumbering branch home
This tricky card comes with the ability Trade, which lets you discard a card to draw two cards
Thanks to flying and trample, Rakdos is a hard-to-avoid source of significant damage
The slight downsides of Baneslayer as life gain is that it is five mana and has no immediate change on the life totals
In order to help you along with your spell thievery, you get cards like Dream-Thiefs Bandana, which is a very cool new equipment that effectively gives you an extra trigger of Gontis ability, Cunning Rhetoric, which punishes your opponents for attacking you, and Heartless Conscription, which is a mass removal spell and exiling fuel for your gameplan
While this card can't go in every deck, I suspect that most Rakdos decks will be more that happy to have it
