The Main Deck "Shaddoll" monsters all have two effects (with an only 1 effect once per turn condition) that generate card or field advantage: a Flip Effect, and a second effect triggered when they are sent to the Graveyard by a card effect
The Book and the Stick
Its a little too simple for my taste, and Isperia, Supreme Judges effect is good card draw but there arent enough specific payoffs to make it feel like the essential commander for this deck

Between the two, I think Merry has the edge in filling the board, while Pippin is best used to finish things off
