Life from the Loam is a great engine card, and dont pass up Crop Rotation as a way to find a fetchland to kick things off it doesnt always have to grab utility lands
With that said, there is always room for improvement
Remember you only get to keep one copy if you pick a legendary creature
The card would actually work well in a Vilis, Broker of Blood deck, a commander who lets you draw cards for every point of life you lose, giving you four cards each time you pay Slaughter's Buyback cost
It even works well alongside Oketra the True, quickly adding up the much-needed body count
Cycling does come up in longer games, or games where you flood out, adding a bit more value to the Triomes
