Spellcaster / Pendulum / Effect You can only use each of the [1] [2] monster effects of this card once per turn
What makes this Pokemon so good is that each time you hit your opponent with Ancient Whirlpool, they wont be able to use it to attack the next turn
Base/Jungle/Gym earlier sets had 3 or 4 different variants
The ideal endboard with the best starters and no interuptions would probably look something like, Punk Jam Fever (xyz monster negate), Dragite (spell/trap negate), Juraishin (the new level 11 synchro that's raigekis on opponents turn), Ripper, and I:P/S:P, plus on top of that any hand traps would would've drawn into cause of the field spell
Since Bruvac does not cause us to mill at the same rate as the rest of the table, suddenly we escalate our strategy, as every mana invested into X represents two cards for our opponents
You could easily say the subject of a card shouldn't be so diminutive in the card art, but I think she stands out well enough, and find this version a great fit for Innistrad, which is a perfect example of a 'Points of Light' type setting
