It's just hard to get as excited about a one toughness Tim when a format is filled with a billion and a half removal spells in the common slot, and where you can already be at five life by the time your Tim becomes active

Draft and sealed formats mitigate that problem by having all players build from a small pool of randomized cards, but Pokemon struggles with drafts due to the importance of getting specific lines of Pokemon evolutions

If the card is removed from the Pokmon for any reason, it goes into discard pile of originating player

Also no idea this thread existed, guess we can mostly focus on sealed boxes here then
